Located in the Jardin Alpin district of Courchevel 1850, the Hotel New Solarium sits nestled in a quiet wooded spot, and enjoys an enviable setting opposite the ski slopes. Guests can walk from the front door to the gondola, and also access the lift leading to the Jardin Alpin green run. The resort centre is just a 10-minute walk from the hotel, and easily reached by gondola. Guests can also take either the hotel's free shuttle bus, which runs well into the evening, or the town ski bus.

 

With its wood and stone facade, the Hotel New Solarium boasts a traditional Alpine chalet design, enhanced by a contemporary twist. The hotel exudes a cosy and charming character, with the refined newly-refurbished interior creating a stylish modern setting.

 

The 70 bedrooms include double and twin beds, as well as family rooms including double and single beds, and some bigger split-level rooms with a separate sitting area. Standard and deluxe rooms accommodate 2 - 3 guests, with family and superior family rooms sleeping 2 - 4. Rooms include private bathroom, satellite TV, telephone, internet access, hairdryer and safe.

 

Facilities include a restaurant, a bar with a split-level lounge with plenty of cosy seating, a fireplace and regular live music, as well as a sunny south-facing terrace. Guests also have the use of an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, relaxation area and treatment room, as well as a well-equipped gym, and concierge services, a ski room, ski shop, laundry service, conference room and parking. The hotel has a convenient children's play room that is open during the peak season.

 

A buffet breakfast is included each morning, along with a 3-course evening meal featuring a choice of starter, main course and dessert buffets. Guests staying during the Christmas and New Year weeks receive a Gala Dinner (included in package price).
