The hotel sits in a quiet location above the centre of the village, with the tranquil scene creating a peaceful yet convenient setting in Wengen. It's possible to ski-in and ski-out of the hotel, and the village centre, the Mannlichen cable car base and the ski school meeting point all lie just a 4-minute walk away.

 

 

An elegant and historic building, which dates back to 1895, the established Hotel Falken displays delightful character with true old-fashioned charm, and benefits from being run by the same family for over 100 years. The decor remains traditional, with antique furniture and many original features still intact, and simple furnishings in the well-equipped bedrooms.

 

The Hotel Falken offers a choice of 50 rooms, which are served by a lift. The bedrooms range from value twin rooms, to standard twins, triples and superior twins. Some value twins feature a wash basin only and use of a WC and shower in the corridor, with all other rooms having a private WC, bath or shower, telephone and radio. Check-in time is between 3:00pm - 11:00pm, and check-out from 7:00am - 11:00am.

 

 

There is a lounge, a TV and reading room, a sun terrace and a bar where a pianist performs most evenings, and Happy Hour drinks are served. The hotel operates a 24-hour room service and offers use of a communal washing machine and dryer, a laundry service, a ski room and internet access. Family-friendly features at the Hotel Falken include a baby-listening service, cots, high-chairs and special children's menus, and early meal-times.

 

Guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast each day, as well as a 4-course evening meal (with choices on request), with special dietary requirements such as vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free catered for, and regional dishes available on request. A weekly buffet is provided, and, for those staying over the Christmas and/or New Year period, a Gala Dinner is included in the package price.
