Again, at Hochgurgl, the resort is so quiet and small, to add a host of recreational activities to your holiday itinerary your best bet is to take advantage of what Obergurgl has to offer. This can include visits to the saunas, jacuzzis, thermals and healing baths, and spas found in many of the Obergurgl hotels.

Dining
Hochgurgl has just a handful of hotels, and it is there that most tourists enjoy hearty Austrian fayre after building up a ravenous appetite on the slopes. For a more expansive choice of eateries, take the short trip to nearby Obergurgl where food options can include pizza, fast food, and even more traditional Tyrolean specialities, such as fondue and raclette.

Apres-Ski
The apres-ski at Hochgurgl is relaxed and low-key. With just a couple of bars to head for after another day on the slopes, your evenings could be spent enjoying a quiet drink or two with your family, new-found holiday mates, or friendly locals, and also listening to some live music. Some of the hotels at Hochgurgl have entertainment for all the family to enjoy.
