The ski resort of Hinterglemm is situated at 1050m in the Salzburgerland region of Austria. Hinterglemm is just 4kms from Saalbach and they are part of the Ski Circus circuit – 200kms of skiing, for every ability of skier, the longest run is 7kms. On the Ski Circus circuit the lift system allows the skiers to ski around the valley without having to return to the ski village. Hinterglemm is a traditional Austrian ski resort that is popular with skiers from across Europe.

Hinterglemm is a fantastic intermediate skiers resort, there are many long blue and red runs winding down to the valley and some more challenging red runs on the north facing slopes. Beginner skiers in Hinterglemm have spacious nursery slopes and a good ski school. For advanced skiers there are some tough red and black runs on the Zwolferkogel and plenty of off piste skiing. Snowboarders have lots of choice in this vast area with terrain to suit every ability of boarder; there are also a couple of snowboard parks.

Hinterglemm is mostly traffic-free so a perfect ski resort to walk around day or night, the après ski is pretty lively. There are many good value restaurants and cafes serving international cuisine. There are lots of lively bars and a couple of nightclubs all serviced by a night bus.
