There are three parts to Gressony - the traditional mountain villages of Trinite and St Jean, and the small purpose-built Stafal - with most of the restaurants and shops found in St Jean. Some of the hotels offer health and beauty salons, gyms and saunas. There are day trips such as the Roman ruins at Aosta, excursions to ski in Zermatt and Cervinia, and a visit to Turin.

Dining
Mostly Italian food served in the resort, and some excellent food found up in the mountain restaurants. Specialities of the area include polenta, game, salami and porcini mushrooms, and the local Val d'Aosta wine is highly rated.

Après-Ski
Nightlife centres around the hotel bars in the village, and there is a disco at weekends. Torchlight descents and folklore evenings provide family entertainment at night.
