Gressoney Resort Facilities

Gressoney has 3 ski schools, with a total of 65 instructors including a number of English-speakers. They offer basic learn-to-ski packages and lessons in skills such as carving and cross-country. 

Ski lessons are available for children aged 4 and up. There is a mini-club, and some private crèches and babysitting services in the resort.

Most of the shops in Gressoney are found in St Jean, and include skiwear and equipment rental, as well as gift and handicraft shops, local grocers and a weekly market. 

 

A total of 20 restaurants offer mainly Italian food, offering good value for money, with some excellent huts up on the mountains.

 

Very quiet and relaxed, with a few local bars and cosy cafes, and a disco at weekends.

 

Include a post office, bank with cash point, petrol station and a supermarket. The separate villages are linked by bus and lifts.

 

Gressoney has a medical facility and a chemist.
