Galtur is small and compact and easy to get around, with plenty of free buses departing for the lifts each day. The buses run into the evening too, for those looking to head to Ischgl, and there are local taxis available.

Plenty of options on the slopes and in the village, with the emphasis on hearty traditional Alpine fare, featuring cheeses, meats, potatoes and sausages, washed down with a glass of schnapps, gluhwein or beer.
Après-Ski
Visitors enjoy the quiet relaxed apres-ski scene in the hotel bars and local taverns, and there are Sunday performances by the ski school every week, with the lively Ischgl just 10km away. The surrounding areas are picturesque, and dotted with plenty of churches and chapels to tour, whilst days out include trips to Munich and Innsbruck.
