Galtur Resort Facilities

The ski school at Galtur offers a range of courses, from complete skiing for beginner’s packages to specialised instruction in techniques such as carving and moguls. Guided touring and ski safaris are also available. The school has 45 instructors, and tuition is in English and German.

 

Childcare is offered for ages 2 and up, and lessons are available for the over 4's. Galtur's ski school has two dedicated children’s areas for expert tuition, and arranges a weekly kid's ski race.

 

Village facilities include a ski rental shop, 4 sports shops, a bakery, butchers, florist and souvenir shop.

 

Galtur has 26 restaurants, including 3 options for on-mountain dining, and a choice of pizzerias, cafes and Alpine taverns serving regional specialities.  

 

Quiet and low-key, après-ski in Galtur consists of a selection of 10 bars and pubs, with many located in the village hotels.

 

Services include 2 banks, 2 cash point machines, post office, town hall, internet lounge, supermarket, library, museum, hairdressers, dry cleaners and taxi service. There are also indoor sports and leisure a centre, and a modern exhibition centre.
