An excellent location close to ski lift, ski schools and easy slopes makes the Forest Cabins an ideal choice for beginners and families with small children. The larger Forest Cabins are ideal for groups.

Location: Prettily set in peaceful surroundings at the bottom of the Geilolia ski runs. The Forest cabins are a very short walk from the Geilolia ski lifts, making for a hassle-free start to the day. The cabins are also close to the crèche, ski schools and activity clubs for children, all of which have an excellent reputation. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the shops, bars and restaurants of Geilo resort centre. The ski bus to the centre is handy if you are feeling lazy.

The Cabins: All the Geilo Forest Cabins come with a well-designed and well-equipped kitchen area and a large living area with log fire, sofa and TV. Relax after a day on the slopes with your own private sauna. Towels, bed linen and end-of-stay cleaning are provided. A pack of basic foodstuffs is ready for your arrival. This includes bread, butter, jam, milk, tea, coffee, fruit juice etc. Each cabin is given a large sack of wood for the fireplace. Cabins are nicely decorated at Christmas. The complex has a laundry are. Free Wi-Fi internet connection is available.

Standard Forest Cabins: These sleep 2-6 people. 3 twin rooms and a bathroom. Upstairs rooms have sloping ceilings.

Large Forest Cabins: These sleep 7-10 people. 3 twin rooms plus a room with 4 bunk beds. 2 bathrooms. Upstairs rooms have sloping ceilings.

Board Basis: Most guests holiday at the Geilo Forest Cabins on a self-catering basis. A half-board option is available at extra cost, with guests dining at the Vestlia Hotel.
