Apres-ski
Flaine's atmosphere is laid-back and reasonably quiet. There are a few bars, with a couple of lively pubs that have become British favourites, plus regular karaoke nights and a disco. For more tradition and charm, take the lift and visit the lower-altitude towns of Les Carroz, Morillon and Samoens, or travel by bus to Sixt, and take in some local architecture and a taste of quaint Savoyard village life.
