Espace Killy Resort Facilities

Ski Schools
Espace Killy boasts over 20 ski schools, offering a huge array of lessons and employing plenty of English-speaking staff. Choose from private, group and family lessons, or specialised instruction in carving, racing and off-piste. Guiding services are also available.

Childcare
Nursery facilities are available for children aged 18 months and up, and both resorts offer private nannies and babysitting services. Each resort also provides a wide range of ski lessons for children over 3.

Shopping
With 200 shops throughout Espace Killy, there's plenty of choice for those looking to spend some money, with Val d'Isere in particular known for its excellent shopping. The villages are home to sports shops, ski shops, boutiques, jewellers, bookshops, toy shops and gift shops, as well as traditional bakeries, patisseries, butchers and supermarkets, and weekly local markets.

Dining
More than 60 restaurants in Val d'Isere and 70 in Tignes make up the extensive dining scene in Espace Killy, ranging from self-service mountain cafes and snack bars to gourmet dining and Michelin-starred establishments, with both international and authentic French fare available.

Apres-Ski
Dozens of bars throughout the resorts offer varied and lively apres-ski, to suit both families and all-night party-goers, with sunny terraces, happy hours and live music. Val d'Iere is more fast-paced than Tignes, with its upscale scene, including nightclubs and a casino.

Town Services
Well-equipped town centres with a choice of supermarkets, banks with cashpoints, post offices, Tourist Offices, internet cafes, launderettes, hairdressers, petrol stations and car rental.

Medical Facilities
There are medical centres and multiple doctors and chemists in both resorts.
