Deux Alpes Resort Facilities

The European Ski and Snowboard School at Les Deux Alpes is one of the best ski schools in France. Courses are led by experienced English-speaking ski instructors (many of them British), and the tuition is tailored towards skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. Individual and group tuition for adults and children is available. Other ski schools at Les Deux Alpes include the excellent Easiski School and the renowned Podium Ski School – where school instructors from all over Europe head for to brush up on their skills each year. 

 

Les Deux Alpes is a child-friendly ski resort with a range of childcare options always available for when parents need a well-deserved break. Most hotels have creche and babysitting services, and there is a ski kindergarten that takes children from 3-6 years. The non-ski kindergarten accepts children from 6 months to 2 years.

 

The numerous shops at Les Deux Alpes stock just about everything, from essential holiday provisions, affordable value-for-money goods, and charming souvenirs, to luxury items such as designer ski wear, high fashion and jewellery to die for.

 

There are dining options available at Les Deux Alpes to suit all tastes and budgets, with even the most discerning diner finding something for them. Choose from fast food, traditional French fayre, gourmet dining, and more.

There is a medical centre at Les Deux Alpes. There is also a doctor at the resort. The nearest hospital is 80km away, at Grenoble.
