Accommodation Details
The Deer Lodge will appeal to ski holiday visitors looking for a quietly relaxing Lake Louise ski hotel with rustic character and old-style charm. The Deer Lodge still retains much of the atmosphere and many of the features from the original early 20th century ski lodge. Rooms are a pleasing mix of rustic simplicity, old-style tradition and modern amenities. Few hotels in Lake Louise can match the deer Lodge in terms of spectacular views and romantic location. Guests can choose B&B and half-board options.
Location: A quiet setting with stunning mountain views, just 5 minute’s walk from the lake. The Deer Lodge operates a complementary shuttle bus service to the Lake Louise ski area during the winter holiday season.
Facilities: Highlights include a relaxing sauna and a rooftop hot tub with amazing views of Victoria Glacier. A rustic lounge has a cosy bar with a piano and traditional fireplace. Facilities also include a TV lounge and games room.
Dining: The locally renowned restaurant serves Rocky Mountain specialities. An excellent wine list features Canadian wines. The Caribou Lounge has great views of Victoria Glacier. Afternoon tea and evening drinks are served in the charming log cabin tearoom.
Accommodation: Rooms accentuate traditional values and do not have a TV. There are 73 rooms in total. Tower Rooms and Lodge Rooms are located in the historic original building and Heritage Rooms are located in the modern additions to the hotel. All rooms come with traditional furnishings, feather duvets, safe box, telephone and bathroom with bath/shower. Many rooms feature traditional brass fittings and attractive wood décor.
Standard Rooms: Double or twin rooms with en suite bathroom in the historic wing.

Tower Rooms: 1 queen-size bed plus bathroom
Heritage Rooms: Large rooms with 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds. These rooms have a balcony.
Superior Double: 1 double bed & en suite bathroom.
Superior Triple: Double bed plus single bed.
Superior Quad: 2 double beds
Lodge Superior Quad: 1 double bed with en suite bathroom plus adjoining room with 2 single beds and washbasin
Lodge Superior Family Rooms: 1 double bed, 1 single bed, 1 double fold-down sofa bed plus en suite bathroom.
