Crest Voland Resort Facilities

At Crest Voland in the French Alps there is a large ski school called the ESF (French Ski School) that has some of the most experienced ski instructors in the country. Other ski schools can also be found at the resort, and whatever your skiing ability, you can find group and private ski lessons to suit you. Younger skiers are well-catered for, as the resort has ideal nursery slopes and practice areas where children can enjoy getting to grips with skiing for the first time.

 

There is flexible childcare available at Crest Voland as well as kids clubs, crèches, nurseries, day care centres and snow play centres. Private nannies and babysitters can also be hired at the resort.

 

There are sports shops at Crest Voland in which you can browse through a wide range of ski clothing, gear and skiing accessories. Although the resort is small, there are still a handful of good shops and supermarkets in which you can stock up on the essentials. To expand your choice of shopping options, a 20-minute trip to nearby Megeve will provide you with luxury shopping to die for.

 

There are nine restaurants at Crest Voland, with something for everyone to enjoy, and prices to suit all budgets. Many offer local specialties, such as fondue. As Crest Voland is only 15km from Megeve, which means you can jump in a taxi and enjoy all the dining options there as well. Choose from exclusive Michelin-star restaurants, traditional Savoyard restaurants in the town centre, and international cuisine that includes traditional French, Italian and Asian food.

 

The après-ski at Crest Voland is relaxed and low-key. Enjoy a few beers with friends and locals in any one of the welcoming bars (there are 12 in total), and if you ever feel like dancing untill dawn, head down to the resort nightclub.

 

At Crest Voland you can find a wide selection of services, including a bank, post office, bakers, butchers, bookstore, library, tobacconist and a petrol station.
