Of the three villages - Crans, Montana and Aminona - Crans is the more up market, whereas Montana is quieter, down-to-earth and attracts more families.  Crans Montana is also a regular host of international sporting and cultural events throughout the year.

 

Good range of cuisine, including Swiss, French, Italian, Chinese, Mexican, Middle Eastern and classic American, and restaurants ranging from cozy rustic bistros to upscale Michelin-starred eateries. Regional specialties include dishes featuring the local cheese, such as raclette and fondue, as well as cured meats, Swiss chocolate and wine. 

 

Après-ski scene is mainly hotel-based but there are venues ranging from lively pubs to elegant piano bars, as well as a couple of sophisticated clubs and a casino.
