Crans Montana Resort Facilites

Crans Montana has 5 ski schools, with more than 200 instructors, offering learn-to-ski packages, as well as private and group lessons in various skills and disciplines.

 

Crans Montana has excellent childcare facilities, with 4 nurseries in the resort, taking children from as young as 3 months and up to 4 years old, and offering a range of options. Ski lessons are available for the over 3's, and the ski schools run special clubs for children. 

 

The resort has over 300 shops, with the high-end of Crans Montana featuring plenty of designer boutiques, expensive jewellers, exclusive watch shops, interior design and bookstores, as well as upmarket regional food and wine shops.

 

There are great choices of 80 restaurants in the towns, with plenty of rustic Alpine fare in the bistros, pizzerias and creperies, as well as more expensive upscale cuisine. International fare includes Chinese, Mexican and Lebanese.

 

The cosmopolitan towns are lively when the lifts close and home to 17 bars and pubs, as well as a choice of 5 clubs and a casino.  So there is plenty to do apres-ski, but in general the atmosphere is quiet at night.

 

Crans Montana has a range of facilities, including banks, a post office, supermarkets, internet cafes, library, car rental, petrol station and train station. A free bus service runs between the three towns of Crans, Montana and Aminona, which are quite spread out.

Crans Montana has a chemist, and doctors are available in town.
