Champoluc Resort Facilities

There are two ski school in Champoluc providing professional instruction, and offering a number of English-speakers. Group lessons for both beginners and more experienced skiers are offered, as is private tuition in basic skills and techniques such as telemark skiing and Nordic skiing. 

 

There is a private nursery for babies aged 6 months and up, and nannies in resort for babysitting. An outside playground for children can be found in town, and the village itself is flat and easy to get around.

 

A selection of small village shops sell ski and sportswear, clothing and gifts, and there are local butchers, cafes, delicatessens and wine stores.

Choice of 29 traditional restaurants, including 11 located up on the mountain, mainly serving Italian food and regional specialities.

Cosy and very laid-back après-ski scene, with the 15 bars incorporating local village inns and hotel bars, and one disco.

There are 3 banks, 2 small supermarkets, a post office and a tourist office in town, with a good choice of small family-run hotels.

Champoluc has a chemist and a doctor on call in the resort.
