Chamonix Piste Information Home to some of the worlds' finest skiing, Chamonix has earned its reputation as the ski resort for powderhounds looking for extreme adventure. With the ski area of Chamonix spread along a valley spanning 16km, the resort offers over 150km of challenging pistes, with masses of steep groomed terrain and some spectacular off-piste. With most of the skiing taking place over 2,000m and boasting both the biggest lift-served vertical drop of 2,807m, and one of the worlds' longest runs, the 22km glacier run from the top of the Aiguille du Midi, challenges abound at this esteemed ski resort, with the pistes at Chamonix never failing to delight.

The Mont Blanc ski pass includes all the areas in Chamonix plus Megeve, Les Contamine and Courmeyer. Currently a 6 day adult Chamonix lift pass costs 185 euros, with a Mont Blanc 6 day pass costing 225 euros. Family passes offering considerable discounts are a good option, as is a book of multiple tickets offering lift passes at a reduced rate, with special 4-hour and non-skier passes also available.
