The Ladin culture of Canazei is still apparent, with the traditional village enjoying an authentic charm and character, with lots of festivals and celebrations during the winter. A Ladin Museum in Vigo di Fasso offers an interesting insight into the region and its people.

 

There are lots of cosy restaurants in Canazei, offering up hearty Italian fare, such as pasta and pizza, with many featuring Ladin specialities such as polenta, buckwheat pancakes and dumplings.

 

The bars in Canazei can get busy, but in general the apres-ski scene is fairly simple and relaxed. Prices for food and drink are reasonable, as in most Italian ski resorts.
