Canazei Skiing Holidays
The Canazei ski resort is situated at the head of the Val di Fassa and the valley is part of the Sella Ronda ski circuit. Canazei is a lively, pretty ski village set below wooded slopes; it is linked to its quieter neighbour Campitello. The Val di Fassa is at the foot of the stunning Dolomite mountain peaks and there are 120kms to ski in the valley area and its offshoots. On the Dolomiti Superski ticket there are approx 1200kms of piste available to skiers. Campitello is quite a large ski village but it has traditional Italian charm.
Canazei skiing holidays
Beginners in the Canazei ski resort start on the slope in the village before progressing to the easy, wide runs at Pecol. Canazei is a perfect ski resort for intermediate skiers, it has direct access to the Sella Ronda Circuit and there is a route either way round with lots of other resorts to visit in the area, for example, Arabba and Val Gardena. For advanced skiers there is the challenge of so many miles of piste to cover and the World Cup downhill ski run in Val Gardena. There is also the snow-sure Marmolada glacier and the challenging, north facing slopes at Arabba. For snowboarders there is a terrain park above Canazei and the Dolomites offer miles of piste for high speed cruising.
Apres ski in Canazei
There is a good choice of cheap cafes and Italian restaurants in Canazei, après ski can be lively in the bars and clubs. For non skiers in Canazei there are some pretty valley walks, paragliding on the glacier, a swimming pool, ice skating etc.
