There are over 30 ski resorts in British Columbia with a huge variety of superb on and off-piste terrain. Smaller resorts offer secluded skiing for a range of abilities while larger resorts, such as Big White and Kicking Horse, make the most of vast skiing areas to provide ample terrain for advanced and cross-country skiers. Not forgetting, of course, the world-renowned Whistler-Blackcomb resort, host of the 2010 Winter Olympics.
