Brides les Bains Snow Conditions - Gateway to the Three Valleys 
Nestled in the valley below Meribel, Brides les Bains is located in the Savoie region of the French Alps. An established spa resort, Brides les Bains offers no skiing directly from the town, but boasts excellent access to the massive ski area of the Three Valleys via a high-speed gondola up to Meribel.

Skiing in the Three Valleys offers the ultimate experience - boasting 600km of terrain covering a series of neighbouring valleys, and connected by an impressive system of 200 lifts. Brides les Bains markets itself as a gateway to the ski area, with a 25-minute gondola ride up to Meribel, ideally placed at the heart of the region. The ski area offers plenty of high-altitude skiing, and with many slopes over 2,000m, the conditions are particularly snow-sure. Val Thorens offers the highest point, with skiing at an altitude of 3,200m. The vast Three Valley network ensures that there is skiing for all levels of ability here, with plenty to keep everyone busy, from first-timers to experienced off-piste adventurers. Well-groomed runs and some of the best snowmaking facilities in the world add to the already impressive conditions. 
 
Brides les Bains Snow Conditions - Access to high-altitude, snow-sure slopes 
The average snowfall in the Three Valleys area is 1,440cm each year. Average winter temperatures in Brides les Bains hover at around 3C during the coldest months of December and January, rising to 5-6C in March and April. January generally sees just 2 hours of sun each day, with the end of the season seeing around 4 or 5 hours. Upper slope averages in the area have reached over 200cm in recent years, with up to 80cm on the lower slopes.
