Brides les Bains Resort Facilities

Ski School
There are a number of ski schools in Meribel, including the French Ski School with its abundance of instructors, many speaking English. Lessons offered range from the usual group tuition in basic skills, to private classes in techniques such as cross-country and powder skiing.

Childcare
Meribel has both a nursery for children aged 18 months - 3 years, offering indoor and outdoor playtime, and a ski kindergarten, Les P'tits Loup, which takes ages 3-5. Private nannies and babysitters are also widely available.

Shopping
The small town of Brides les Bains has just a few village shops, with places to hire skis and equipment, as well as local services such as a bakery and newsagents, and a supermarket for essentials.

Dining
Brides les Bains is home to 15 restaurants, most serving traditional Savoyard dishes and hearty alpine food. Other resorts in the valley offer more choice, but higher prices.

Après Ski
The town is fairly quiet, with 12 bars in the town and hotels, however the town hosts arranged events and themed nights, and there are 2 nightclubs and a casino in town. For more action-packed après ski, stay in Meribel when the lifts close.

Town Services
As well as the famous spa centre, shops and restaurants, the town also has a bank, post office, tourist office, skate park, launderette and garage. Despite being a small town, Brides les Bains serves as the main administrative centre for the Meribel Valley.

Medical Facilities
The town has a doctors' surgery and a chemist.
