Breckenridge is a quaint 150-year old mining town, and tours of the local historic regions and nearby gold mines are available. The resort's Main Street is lined with Victorian charming shops in which to browse, cosy cafes and a number of art galleries.  

 

Breckenridge has plenty of international restaurants - featuring Italian, French, Swiss, Chinese, Japanese and Tex-Mex fare - and offers both sophisticated upscale restaurants and casual home-cooking.   

 

Good choice of varied après-ski in Breckenridge with a selection of pubs, breweries, taverns and sports bars, as well as more upscale bars and lounges, and a lively but casual atmosphere.
