Breckenridge Resort Facilities

The Breckenridge Ski and Ride School is highly rated and offers a wide range of lessons and programmes, from first-timer packages to clinics in skills such as racing and bump skiing. An all-day 'Big Mountain Experience' is available for expert skiers. 

 

There are three locations - Peak 8 Child Care, The Village Child Care and Beaver Run Child Care - taking children aged 2 months-3 years, with the Village Centre also running a programme for 3-5 year olds. Ski lessons are available for over-3's, and snowboarding for the over-5's.

 

Breckenridge's historic Main Street is lined with over 200 unique shops, selling ski clothes and sportswear, clothing, gifts, souvenirs, art, books, jewellery and furniture, and the town is home to 5 supermarkets and grocers, and 5 wine shops.  

 

Breckenridge has a sophisticated dining scene with over 100 restaurants including casual cafes, pizzerias, grills and gourmet establishments - all serving a host of international food, as well as seafood and steaks.  

 

There is excellent nightlife in Breckenridge regarding apres-ski, with 30 bars, inns, pubs and clubs in the resort, ranging from cosy local taverns and microbreweries to wine bars and lounges. Breckenridge also has a good range of coffee shops, bakeries and ice-cream parlours.  

 

There is a free shuttle running through the town, and services including 5 banks, 2 post offices, police station, library, dry cleaners and an internet cafe.

 

Breckenridge is home to 2 medical clinics, including an emergency service, and a chemist.
