Ski School The ski school has a staff of over 200 multi-lingual instructors, with most speaking English. Beginners' tuition is especially popular, and the group lessons are graded into five different levels of difficulty, and lasting for 4 hours each day.
Children Borovets' ski kindergarten is open for children aged 4-8, and a crèche in one of the hotels takes care of children between the ages of 1 and 4. Babysitting is available at the resort.
Eating out There are 17 restaurants in town, ranging from cosy taverns to cheap take-away places. A variety of cuisine can be found here including Italian and Chinese, as well as traditional Bulgarian food. Prices are low compared to other European countries.
Apres-ski With 10 bars, ski holidays in Borovets offer a colourful and lively après-ski scene, with bars playing international music and lots of happy hours. Choices of two discos in the hotels offer late-night dancing. Folk nights prove popular, and give visitors a taste of Bulgarian culture.
Shopping The main street offers a range of bargains, from ski clothing and skiing equipment to locally-made souvenirs. A total of 10 ski rental shops can be found in the resort
Medical Facilities In case of medical emergencies, a Ski Patrol is based in Borovets, with round the clock assistance.
