Most shops are located in the village of Bohinijska Bistrica, selling a range of products including skiwear and sporting goods, toys, books, clothing, flowers, local gifts and souvenirs.

Après Ski

Entertainment is mainly centred on the hotels, and the après ski scene is quiet but friendly and laid-back. Choices include hotel bars with happy hours, mountain terraces with great views and traditional Slovenian taverns.

Dining

Lots of rustic cooking in the many guesthouses, pensions and hotels in the region. Prices are very reasonable, and a range of hearty mountain fare can be sampled, along with various international dishes.
