Bled Resort Facilities

Ski School 

The ski school in Bled offers English instruction, with group or private lessons in both skiing and snowboarding.

 

Bled offers a free kindergarten on Straza, with some of the local hotels running 'mini-clubs' for children.

 

The town is home to a small shopping centre with a limited amount of choice (Ljubljana is a better option), but there are a few local craft shops and a weekly market. Souvenirs include baskets, pottery, crystal and lace, as well as local honey and wine.  

 

Bled offers over 20 restaurants and cafes selling both international food and traditional Alpine fare, with plenty of Slovenian specialties. The hotels have a good choice of restaurants, with many offering a half-board option.

 

Après Ski 

The bars are generally laid-back and relaxed, serving a range of drinks at great prices, including locally-brewed beers and regional wines. One disco offers late-night dancing and there is a casino in town.  

 

Bled has a supermarket, post office, tourist office, car rental, bus station and railway station.

 

Medical Facilities 

There is a health centre, doctor, and chemist in town.
