Town and Surrounding Area
The Italian town is large and lively, yet retains a traditional charm and character in its medieval centre and cobbled streets, whilst offering plenty of shops, hotels, restaurants and bars, as well as a medieval castle and a museum. The surrounding Piedmont region is home to historical buildings and chapels to tour, and there are regular trains to the city of Turin and neighbouring villages.

Dining
Dining features hearty Italian and Alpine fare in the restaurants in town and up on the mountain, and caters to all budgets. Traditional specialities include polenta, gnocchi, game, regional cheeses and cured meats, all washed down with local Piedmont wine or grappa.

Apres-Ski
The extensive apres-ski caters for all types, and can be lively at the weekends, with numerous bars to visit, as well as games rooms and a cinema, and the resort's Festival Hall (Palazzo delle Feste) holding regular shows, theatre performances, concerts and exhibitions.
