Axamer Lizum Resort facilities

The ski school at Axamer Lizum offers tuition in skiing, snowboarding and cross-country, and offers a range of group and private lessons.

 

A ski kindergarten takes children aged 4 and up, and there is private babysitting available for non-skiers.

 

In Axams, a choice of 15 shops sell a range of goods including ski and sports equipment, clothing, flowers, and regional foods and produce.

 

Axams' 15 restaurants offer plenty of choice, including self-service, Italian, regional Austrian and upscale gourmet cuisine, with some great food to be had in the huts up on the mountain. Also home to coffee shops and an ice-cream parlour.

 

Apres ski is mainly in the 6 hotel-based bars, which are generally rustic and traditional, and the 2 nightclubs in town. The town hosts regular themed entertainment, such as fondue nights and folklore evenings.  

 

Facilities in Axamer Lizum are limited to hotels and restautants, but services in the village of Axams include 2 banks with cashpoints, supermarkets, cyber cafe, a library, post office, launderette, hairdressers and petrol station.
