Arinsal Resort Facilities
Ski School
Two highly regarded ski schools employ a staff of 160 instructors, with plenty of English-speakers and reasonably priced tuition. Lessons range from private instruction and group lessons, in both basic skills and specialist techniques.
Children
Childcare is available at both Arinsal and Pal, with non-skiing crèches taking babies from the age of 12 months. Lessons are offered for children aged 4-8, and the resort has 2 specialist snow gardens.
Shopping
Arinsal has a small shopping area, selling the basics and some duty-free goods, but for more choice, head to the capital, Andorra la Vella.
Dining
The resort is home to 15 restaurants, many of which are located in the hotels, which offer accommodation on a half-board basis, and serve French, Catalan and Mediterranean cuisine. Up on the mountain, 11 restaurants serve a choice of food including snacks, British specials, Mexican and Chinese.
Après Ski
Known for its vibrant après ski scene, Arinsal has 24 bars, many also serving food, and with cheap prices. The resort really livens up at night, with choices ranging from English and Irish pubs to cocktail bars.
Town Services
Services include 9 rental shops, 4 banks, a bureau de change and a post office, 2 supermarkets, petrol stations and internet cafes.
Medical Facilities
There is a doctor in the resort, one chemist and 2 first aid centres.
