Argentiere Resort Facilities

Ski schools
There is a choice of ski schools in Argentiere, including ESF and Summits Ski Montagne. All offer English-speaking instructors and a range of lessons and courses, from basic skiing skills to advanced techniques, such as off-piste. For more extensive choice, consider making the trip to nearby Chamonix.

Children
Lessons are available for children aged 3 and up, with the ESFs' Panda Club offering a ski kindergarten, and activities and games in the crèche for non-skiers. There are 2 dedicated areas for children in the resort, Les Planards and Le Savoy.

Town facilities
There is a bank with a cash point in town, as well as a post office, a library, a supermarket and various small shops. A shuttle bus runs into the busy resort of Chamonix every 10 minutes.

Dining
Ski holidays in Argentiere are home to a number of cosy restaurants and pizzerias, serving regional specialities and casual pub food. The mountains offer the perfect place for a rustic lunch, with great views.  

Après-ski
There are some bars to choose from in town, and a disco. Argentiere is quieter with less choice than its famous neighbour, but lies only 10km away, so a night out in Chamonix is an option.       

Medical facilities
There is a doctor in Argentiere, with more to be found in Chamonix itself, as well as emergency services such as a hospital and Mountain Rescue.
