Location: An excellent position with panoramic views, at the bottom of the Arebjornen ski area. You should be able to ski to the door. The nearest ski lifts are between 20 and 800m away, depending on where you are staying in the complex. The local lift pass entitles you to free daytime use of a ski bus that makes the 6km journey into Are village. Reception is just 100 metres from the bus stop. Taxis make the short trip back from Are if you wish to head home after dark.

Amenities: A self-contained complex offers all you need for a family skiing holiday. A good supermarket makes for hassle-free self-catering. You also have easy access to an excellent restaurant and a well-run ski shop. Guests have free access to the sauna. Provision for children includes a playground and a special children’s ski area.

Accommodation: The Arebjornen apartments are very spacious and the kitchens are well equipped. There are 2 basic layouts.

2-4 person apartments: Situated close to the restaurant and 100m from the special ski area for children. The apartment has 1 double room, a separate room with bunk beds plus a shower room and toilet. The living area includes a kitchenette and is equipped with satellite TV.

2-6 person apartments: Situated 800m from reception and uphill from the ski area for children. Taxis ferry guests to and from reception on arrival and departure. The apartment has 1 double room and 2 rooms with bunk beds. There is a shower room and toilet. Extra space allows room for a living area, kitchen and sauna. The larger apartments also have access to a shared terrace or balcony.

 

Price includes towels, bed linen and end-of-stay cleaning (not washing up).

Note: Half-board is available on payment of a supplement. Half-board includes a breakfast pack and a 2 course dinner. Special meals at Christmas and New Year require a supplement.
