Arc 1950 Resort Facilities

The 'Spirit' ski school at Arc 1950 has a staff of 35 qualified instructors for both skiing and snowboarding lessons, and offers bilingual tuition, and mountain guiding services. 

 

Cariboo's Club takes children from 13 months to 3 years old in its Little Cariboo, whilst those aged 3 - 13 can enjoy a mixture of ski lessons and games throughout the day, and are divided by age. Outdoor activities include snowshoeing, mini-olympics, toboggan races and igloo building.

 

There are 12 shops in Arc 1950, including ski and sports shops, a newsagents, supermarket, wine shop and local bakery, and the village sells clothing, jewellery, books, games and gifts.

 

Arc 1950 has a total of 8 restaurants, serving traditional Savoyard fare, as well as international cuisine including Italian, Mexican and Irish.

 

The après-ski scene in Arc 1950 is low-key, with 5 bars, including an Irish pub, and one nightclub.

 

The car-free centre of Arc 1950 is linked to Arc 2000 by gondola, and in addition to the hotels and apartments, the authentically-designed village has a post office and a Resort Club.

 

There is a doctor and a chemist in Arc 1950.
