The original village in the resort, Arc 1600 is the lowest in Les Arcs and is named after its elevation. The centre is home to one of the two main sectors in the resort, and there are good links to the villages above, with skiers able to access the highest point in the resort - 3,226m - as well as the extensive slopes of the Paradiski area.
