Places to visit
Quaint and compact, Arabba is cosy and traditional, and feels both Italian and Tyrolean in character. The town centre has an authentic charm, and is surrounded by spectacular scenery, ideal for exploring. Non-skiers should definitely ride the gondola to the top of Punta Rocca to take in some stunning views. The area is steeped in history as a World War I battlefield. There is a World War I Museum at Marmolada Glacier, a ruined castle in the Livallongo Valley and many beautiful old churches around the area.
