There are 22 ski resorts in Alberta representing a diverse choice of pistes across the province. The majority of ski resorts are located in the south-western corner of the region where the spectacular Rocky Mountains form an imposing border between Alberta and British Columbia. The pistes range from beginner to challenging with some superb off-piste terrain.

Banff National park lift pass
The Banff National park is home to three of Alberta’s most popular ski resorts, Lake Louise, Sunshine Village and Norquay Hill. The convenient tri-area lift pass covers all three resorts with almost 8000 acres of ski area. The ticket also includes transportation to and from the resorts.

Price for tri-area lift pass based on 6 out of 8 days skiing:
Adult - $480
Youth (13-17) - $427
Child (6-12) - $158
Senior (65+) - $427

Lift passes in the rest of Alberta range from $65 - $75 for an adult 1-day pass in the larger ski resorts such as Jasper Hill and Nakiska Hill to $35 for an adult 1-day pass in smaller resorts such as Rabbit Hill.
